If a nuclear weapon explodes over New Delhi with Pashchim Vihar as its epicentre, there will be 450,306 fatalities and 1,258,004 injuries, claims this interactive online map created by Alex Wellerstein, an historian of nuclear weapons and an Assistant Professor of Science and Technology Studies at the Stevens Institute of Technology. Data on blast size calculations and associated casualties is provided by Wellerstein’s application.
