The allegedly best and the most perfect reactor in the whole wide world, certified repeatedly by Dr. Abdul Kalam, Mr. Alexander Kadakin, Mr. Vladimir Putin and a whole array of others is heading in a dangerous direction. It is pertinent to consider the colossal time overrun of some six years in making the first reactor go critical and in commissioning it. Our concerns arise from recent media reports about the use of substandard components in KKNP 1 & 2, and the revelation at this late stage that four valves in a critical safety system were found defective.

The People’s Movement Against Nuclear Energy (PMANE) accuses that the corrupt Congress Party and government in India, the Indian nuclear establishment and the Russian nuclear establishment consider Indian lives base and valueless and prepare to put our lives in danger for their own profits, commissions, power and prominence.
