[TEXT] Joint Statement from the 2014 No Nukes Asia Forum

Activists from Japan, South Korea, Hong Kong, Turkey, Philippines, India and Taiwan converged in Taipei last week to chart out the common issues across Asia and build solidarity for a nuclear free world. Here is the joint statement adopted by the NNAF 2014 –

Koodankulam: 168 international organizations from 21 countries urge the Indian govt to stop the reactor

This is a petition started by No Nuclear Asia Forum(NNAF) and signed by 656 individuals and 168 organizations from 21 countries including Japan, Australia, Austria, Canada, France, Germany, Hongkong, Indonesia, Russia, China, US, UK, Korea and Thailand. A wide range of organisations from environmental groups, human and child rights groups to women and labour associations have supported this appeal.
