DiaNuke.org interviewed former Union Minister, Mr. Mani Shankar Aiyar on the relevance of the ‘Action Plan for a Nuclear Weapon Free and Non-Violent World Order’ that India’s former Prime Minister, Late Mr. Rajiv Gandhi, presented to the United Nations in June 1988. Mr. Aiyar had been instrumental in drafting and promoting the Action Plan. In this interview, he speaks about its continued relevance and also discusses the shift from India’s progressive foreign policy under the Narendra Modi government.
