CNIC’s role that provides accurate information and convinces people that nuclear
power is dangerous and should be abandoned is more important after the Fukushima disaster and we are devoting our energy to fulfilling this role. After the accident, CNIC has continued to provide information about Fukushima, the current situation, health effects and the other things related to the accident.

While tens of thousands of people remain evacuated in Fukushima even 7 years after the nuclear accident, and, a much larger number of people continue to face its unsparing consequences – physical, financial, social, and psychological, the accident has affected people far beyond territorial and occupational boundaries.
