Radioactive Waste : Thinking Things Through to the End

Dr. Gordon Edwards is interviewed by Michelle Derosier in Thunder Bay on Earth Day, April 22, 2023. Edwards is asked why he is on a five-day tour of Northwestern Ontario and why he is speaking out about nuclear waste. The Nuclear Waste Management Organization (NWMO), representing Canada’s nuclear waste producers, is interested in burying all of Canada’s high-level radioactive waste in the Revell Lake area, between the towns of Dryden and Ignace, a bit north of Lake Superior — and very close to the Wabigoon Lake Ojibway Nation. Dr. Edwards is Chairman of the Canadian Coalition for Nuclear Responsibility. The tour was organized by Brennain Lloyd of We the Nuclear Free North. The video was produced by the Cricket Cave and is being distributed free with their permission.
