“Unfolding Crisis in Ukraine and Chernobyl: The Urgent Nuclear Dimension”
We invite you to a conversation with the Moscow-based nuclear expert, Andrey Ozharovsky on the urgent nuclear dimensions of the ongoing Ukranian crisis. Nuclear radiation doesn’t obey national boundaries or even human time-scales. Even as the ongoing nuclear accident in Chernobyl completes its fourth decade, the region continues to remain unacceptably dangerous for human habitation, and recent reports of radiation spikes in the area since Russia’s military offensive have raised crucial questions that we must pay immediate attention to.
Join us for this important conversation to get a firmer grip on the present crisis, in particular, its nuclear dimensions. Mr. Ozharovsky will be in conversation with Kumar Sundaram, Founding Editor, DiaNuke.org following which there will be a Q&A with the participants/audience.
