Nuclear Delusion: Eric Schlosser explains why humans are living on borrowed time

Here is the video of Eric Schlosser spekaing at the Sydney’s Festival of Dangerous Ideas last month.

“We’re much better at creating complex technological systems,” he says, “than we are at managing them or knowing what to do about them when they go wrong. With all these technologies it’s good we have a bit of humility and realise our imperfection.”

The extent of that is brought to life in Schlosser ‘s book ‘Command and Control’, which leaves you feeling that only great good luck has spared the world from catastrophe.
